Examination Details :-

Selection procedure includes three phases:

*1st Phases: Preliminary Exam wiil be [Objective Type] [ 100 Marks ]

*2nd Phases: Main Exam will be [Objective Type] [ 200 Marks ]

*3rd Phases: Interview will be [ 35 Marks ]

    Main exam is objective type and will be conducted online method.

    Question paper has 5 sections namely (1) Reasoning, (2) English Language, (3) Quantitative Ability, (4) General Awareness, (5) Computer Knowledge.

    There will be 200 questions for 200 marks respectively.

    Exam duration will be two hours .

    There is negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer if in case.

    Question paper will be set in both Hindi and English languages respectively.

Seletion Procedure :-	ITI Trainee: Candidates should have completed Xth and full time regular ITI Course in Either Fitter/Electrician/Instrument Mechanic trades from a NCVT/SCVT approved institution. Assistant Trainee-Materials,Store Keeper:- Candidates should have NCTVT certificate in store keeping and should have English typing speed of 30 word per minute or 150 keystrokes per minute and 10th and full time regular Fitter or Electrician or Instrument Mechanic trades with English typing speed of 30 word per minute /150 keystrokes per minute recommended Lab Assistant Trainee ( Chemistry): Candidates should have to completed B.Sc in Chemistry or graduate in Industrial or applied chemistry through regular mode from a recognized university recomended.

Age Limit :- As on Last date of online application forms  5th Decemer, 2016

Applicants Upper age limit should not be more than 27 years as on 01-11-2016. For Land Oustees of NTPC Projects at Lara, Korba, Sipat, Gadarwara & Khargone Upper age limit is 37 years as on 01-11-2016. There is age relaxation for reserved categories persons as per the govt rules.

Application Fees :-

Non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/- for Candidate belonging to General and OBC category. Well the candidates will need to make the payment using  Demand Draft(DD) in the name of NTPC Limited payable at Raipur, Chhattisgarh only.
